“无论是死、是生，是天使、是掌权的，是有能的，是现在的事，是将来的事， …是别的受造之物，都不能叫我们与神的爱隔绝，这爱是在我们的主基督耶稣里的。”罗 8:38-39
历史上的征服者大部份都是自负的暴徒。他们建立帝国是靠自己的能力和为了自己的荣耀，而往往因此残杀了千千万万的人。
不过，圣经中的耶稣，虽是万王之王、万主之主，但祂胜过一切是靠着牺牲祂自己的生命来作我们的赎价的。这样祂便解除了罪对我们的辖制。因此没有任何受造物的能力，甚至在灵界中的能力，可以叫我们与神隔绝。没有什么可以使我们与“在我们的主基督耶稣里”的爱分开的了。
有时，我们面对的挑战是来自环境或其他人的，但所有的挑战都是源于那与神为敌的灵界的能力。这些灵界的能力很想毁灭我们，但它们却做不到，因为我们有神在基督里的保护。
耶稣已得胜了，因此我们也得胜了。耶稣从死里复活时，祂便胜过了邪恶势力最厉害的武器 – 死亡。从此撒但和一切邪恶的能力再不能控制我们，因为耶稣已领我们进入永生。靠着祂，我们已经得胜有余了。
祷告
耶稣啊，你得胜了，你为我们得胜了。面对所有尝试挑战我们对你的信心的影响力时，求你帮助我们站立得稳，又帮助我们天天为你而活。阿们。
罗马书 8:31-39
31既是这样，还有什么说的呢？神若帮助我们，谁能敌挡我们呢？
32神既不爱惜自己的儿子，为我们众人舍了，岂不也把万物和他一同白白地赐给我们吗？
33谁能控告神所拣选的人呢？有神称他们为义了。
34谁能定他们的罪呢？有基督耶稣已经死了，而且从死里复活，现今在神的右边，也替我们祈求。
35谁能使我们与基督的爱隔绝呢？难道是患难吗？是困苦吗？是逼迫吗？是饥饿吗？是赤身露体吗？是危险吗？是刀剑吗？
36如经上所记：“我们为你的缘故终日被杀，人看我们如将宰的羊。”
37然而，靠着爱我们的主，在这一切的事上已经得胜有余了。
38因为我深信：无论是死，是生，是天使，是掌权的，是有能的，是现在的事，是将来的事，
39是高处的，是低处的，是别的受造之物，都不能叫我们与神的爱隔绝；这爱是在我们的主基督耶稣里的。
Jesus Conquers All For Us
“Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers . . . nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 8:38-39
Most of the conquerors in history have been egotistical thugs. They established kingdoms by their own power and for their own glory, often killing many thousands of people to do so.
But what we learn from Scripture is that Jesus, the King of kings and Lord of lords, has conquered all things by laying down his own life as a ransom for us. By doing that, he broke the power of sin’s hold on us. And that means no other power in all creation or even in the spiritual realms can separate us from God. Nothing can separate us “from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Sometimes the challenges we face are from circumstances and other people, but the root of all challenges to our faith comes from spiritual forces that are at war with God. Those spiritual powers would love to destroy us, but they cannot touch us because of God’s protection in Christ.
Jesus has already won the battle. And because he won, we win! When Jesus rose from the dead, he overcame the ultimate weapon of the forces of evil—death. Never again can Satan and the powers of evil have a hold on us, because Jesus has brought us into everlasting life. With him, we are more than conquerors.
Prayer
Jesus, you won. You won for us. Help us to stand firm against all influences that want to challenge our faith in you. Help us to live for you each day. Amen.
